Cabling
The cable section explains three different types of cables that can be used with computer peripherals.
- Optical
- Twisted Pair
- Coaxial
Optical
It is different from other shielded cables as it can carry lower signal frequencies which is better suited for audio signals but can also be used for internet becuase it is faster but mainly for audio purposes.
The advantage of using an optical cable is that it is lightweight and it can transfer data quickly.

Twisted Pair
A twisted Pair is a pair of copper wires that connects the internet to the company. It is commonly called a Ethernet Cable which connects the computer to the internet.
The Ethernet cable is usually coloured Blue (as seen in the picture).

Coxial
It is a cable where the two internal conducting cables are twisted around each other to eliminate any external interference. A coaxial cable is an electrical cable surrounded by a insulating layer.
The Coxial Cable is used for audio and visual purposes, especially televisions and VCRs.
